I’m really looking forward to getting to know everyone here and creating a tight-knit community where music junkies, foodies, snappy dressers, and pop-culture fanatics can gather to discuss the things we love most in life. So please, let those freak-flags fly people!
I hope you’ll think of this site as your safe haven; a place full of friendly folks ready to pick up what you’re puttin’ down! An open forum where you can gush about your favorite song, band, bar, restaurant, shoes, lipstick, book, artist, and anything and everything else you dig. To get started, all you have to do is sign-up and create a personal profile. Next, you can begin making new friends, sharing photos and videos, and conversing in the forum and comment sections, where you’ll find great advice and tips and have a chance to offer your own expertise—and all with cool people that share your interests!
On my end, you can expect lots of fun posts about new music, great venues, concerts and festivals, as well as my favorite restaurants and bars that feature awesome tunes, unique eats and drinks, and on occasion, the possibility of spotting a band. I’ll also be discussing all things style, since in addition to being a music lover I’m a total fashion addict. This will also be the best place to find out about my upcoming projects and get insider information about my current gigs in Hollywood and beyond. So, welcome! Chelsea Kane (formerly Chelsea Staub) is a versatile young actress and musician. Chelsea was a finalist on Season 12 of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. Currently she is the voice of Bea in Disney Channel’s animated comedy series “Fish Hooks”. Eye-catching and funny, “Fish Hooks” is the imaginative story of three tween fish navigating high school.
This summer, Chelsea will star in the upcoming ABC Family half hour comedy “Baby Daddy,” as Penny, alongside Jean-Luc Bilodeau and Derek Theler. “Baby Daddy” centers on Ben who, in his 20s, becomes a surprise dad to a baby girl when she’s left on his doorstep by an ex-girlfriend. Ben (Bilodeau) decides to raise the baby with the help of his mother, his brother Danny (Theler), his best buddy and his close female friend Penny (Kane), who is harboring a secret crush on him.
Chelsea will also star in ABC Family’s first movie musical “Elixir,” alongside Sara Paxton, Jane Seymour and Drew Seeley. The TV movie is about a Choreographer Harper (Seymour) who travels to Italy for her daughter Mirabella’s (Paxton) wedding to once-upon-a-time playboy Marco (Alexander John). Harper drinks a liquid that is supposed to help with the pain of an old dance injury but instead the elixir magically turns Harper thirty years younger (Kane) and she tries to sabotage the wedding.
Chelsea recently starred in the web series The Homes on Lockerz.com. The Homes is a first-of-its kind indie rock musical, featuring twelve original music videos. She also starred as Stella Malone, the longtime friend and style guru to the Lucas brothers in the Disney Channel comedy series "JONAS."
The Phoenix, Arizona native has been acting professionally since the age of nine. She landed her first role as Young Kim in the national Broadway tour of "Showboat" and went on to star in the productions "Peter Pan," "The Wiz," "Cinderella," "Oliver," "Annie," "Titanic," "The Sound of Music," "Schoolhouse Rock," "A Christmas Carol" and "The Secret Garden," among others.
Chelsea starred in the Disney Channel Original Movies "Minutemen" and “Starstruck” and guest-starred on Disney Channel's hit series "Wizards of Waverly Place." Her other guest star credits include "Cracking Up," "Summerland," "Listen Up" and "The Bill Engvall Show."
On the big screen, she landed her first role in the family film "Arizona Summer," and had a starring role in the motion picture "Bratz."
During her free time, Chelsea enjoys hitting the concert circuit with her Polaroid camera and her favorite musician friends.
Chelsea celebrates her birthday on September 15. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
